Janira goes through her exercises in her split sole ballet slippers. She's wearing black pantyhose with her leotard. She extends her long legs forward, does her plie jumps.

Star watches her as she moves through her positions. Star soaks her chloroform rag. She creeps up noisily behind Janira. Janira is so focused on her exercises that she doesn't hear her until it's too late. She protests, her cries muffled by the drug drenched rag.

Star pulls the limp dancer down on top of her on the couch. She rolls her over and removes her slippers, trying them on. Star mimics Janira's moves before turning to her exposed nylon soles. She begins to worship, but Janira wakes.

Star puts her back out and continues to enjoy her dancer feet.

Star has an idea and leaves the room, warning Janira not to wake up.

Janira is confused to find herself on the couch, missing her slippers. She stands up slowly, unsteady. As she walks forward, Star creeps up behind her - quietly this time, in Janira's soft soled ballet slippers. Janira struggles to maintain consciousness as her knees buckle and she sinks with Star to the floor.

Star snips the toes off of Janira's pantyhose with a pair of scissors. She enjoys the dancer's toes as she plays with her limp limbs and rolls her body around the floor. Janira begins to wake again & Star straddles her, clamping the rag over her nose and mouth, asking her why she won't just stay asleep.
